Under the sad night sky
Strangers
Trying to hide
Blue meets blue
on the ocean front
Swept away
By the tumultous tide
It came sailing in
The familiar
Hoping for auspicious gifts
To be delivered
Left with pieces
Drenched in questions
Actions become
Lifelong hurts
Breaking hearts
And souls and spirits
All whilst
Attempting to avert
This is where blue meets blue
